Familiar with LASIK

A good majority of people are not familiar with LASIK surgery. However; I am sure that if you ask some one who has worn corrective lenses they will tell you all about it. I was unsure of what it was until I found out of my husband's decision to have a Lasik surgery this coming August. After he explained it to me I had a better understanding at why he wanted it. A lot of people asking about the procedure, so here is a breakdown. Today’s modern LASIK combines 3D mapping and customized treatment for the 1st all-laser technology. In layman's terms, it uses a specialized computer program to create a 3-D map of the surface of the eye called the cornea. The computer than takes that map and uses the laser to smooth the entire surface of the eye. If a cornea is distorted in any way, that is what creates the need for corrective lenses. A laser is used because it is the fastest man made system we have. The speed of light is the only thing that can track and move with the movements of the eye. In a recent meeting with the Federal Drug Administration, researchers provided data that supports the surgery as being the safest and most effective procedure worldwide. With an average 95.4% success rate and a less the 1% chance of serious complications the data provides the proof for even the US Military & NASA to use this combination on personnel including pilots and astronauts. It’s the pinnacle of LASIK technology. It's one procedure I would be at ease to have done. Check it out LASIK information

I've done LASIK. It has been almost a year now and my eyes are almost, 20/20 vision :D. There are two type of LASIK. The 1st one is CONVENTIONAL LASIK and the other one is CUSTOM LASIK. CUSTOM is better because it reduces the glaring effect. Safer driving at night :)
