Our Daily Bible Reading

I just want to share our daily bible reading for today. This morning after I fed the boys and cleaned them up we went to my bedroom and sat on top of the bed while we are having our daily bible reading. The Chapter 4 of Proverbs is what we read. My eldest son was paying attention of what I've read to them, it was a good reading because I noticed my eldest son is trying to enter-act of what he heard from the scripture. I asked him what he had learned from what I read and he said "Son, pay attention" I have a big smile in my face when he said that so it means that he is listening of what I read to them. Since my husband is not here with us and he cannot be the head of the family, so I did all the responsibilities while he is gone. I told my husband about his eldest son's behavior and actions every day. I make it sure that he knows everything about his children. I don't want that he will be left behind when he comes back. While he's not around, I will do everything for my children's sake and of course I always ask God's guidance and wisdom in all I teach them. Yes, sometimes kids are annoying but it doesn't mean you will stop loving them, they are just being a kid and they are not perfect.

Here is the Proverbs 4: 1-27
1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding. 2 I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching. 3 For I too was a son to my father, still tender, and cherished by my mother. 4 Then he taught me, and he said to me, "Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. 6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. 7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. 8 Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. 9 She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown." 10 Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. 11 I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. 12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. 13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. 14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. 15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. 16 For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. 17 They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. 18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. 19 But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. 20 My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to one's whole body. 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. 24 Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.

Armor of God

I spent time with God awhile ago and I found this verses that fits into my situation right now. Most people know that my husband is in the military and being a spouse it's kind of difficult situation, but I am not saying I will give up! I have had a lot of trials already and I am Thankful to God that He is always there for me through thick and thin. He keep His promises and He never fails. These verses are taken from the book of Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV).

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power s of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions will all kinds of prayers and requests. With this is mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Folks, I want you to share this verses with you guys, I am sure it will help your life too without any hesitation, just Trust in HIM

What Matters Most

I have a good verse for you today, and I would love to share this with you. "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth" taken from 1 John 3:18 KJV.

The best expression of love is time. Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That's why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Whenever you give your time you're making a sacrifice, and sacrifice3 is the essence of love.

Folks, I know we encounter a lot of problems in life but always remember that God is there listening to our cry. Whenever we have the opportunity we should do good to everyone. Let love be your greatest aim.

The God is my Refuge

This is a continuation of my non-paid post regarding "Terrible Day for me," Here's what I mean. After what happened today, I took my bible and read some verse from Psalm 46:1 was enormously encouraging to me when I applied it this way. God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in my time of trouble. I've since found it a powerful comfort to read such psalms aloud like this. The word of God truly calm us down if we only put our trust in HIM. He is our great comforter in times of need.

I will encourage you to look expectantly in Scripture for God to provide you with fresh insights, joy and help "My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word, (V29) Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously!" another verse from (Psalm 119:28-29). He wants to heal our hearts while he strengthens your faith. If I will not put Him in my life, my life will be miserable. I'm blessed because I know that I have Him in my life.

Meet My Friend

I have a friend who is always faithful, who can meet all my and your needs, who will never leave you and me. This friend of mine is Jesus Christ. Since I have known Him, He has been faithful in all His promises, "the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). Through my joys and sorrows He has been a friend who sticks closer than a brother or a sister.

I first met Him when I read His invitation in the Bible "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." I came to Him and He freed me from my burden of sin, guilt, and gave me hope for living. Daily He meets my needs. He promises , Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. When I am lonely and worried, I remember His Words, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Yes we can trust the Lord Jesus as our eternal friend. He invited us "behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear My voice, and open the door I will come in to him, and will sup with him , and he with Me. What a great promise of our Lord Jesus. I am forever grateful that I have Jesus in my heart and He lives with in my heart.

Seek God's Face

"You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD." Jeremiah 29:13-14

What a wonderful verses. Most of us tend to think that praying and "seeking God's face" are one and the same. But they are not. Prayer often involves asking for something. We pray for wisdom, for health for finances, for the salvation of loved ones, for our nation, and for a host of things too numerous to mention. Of course, we pray for revival too, both in our own hearts and in our country. Seeking God's face is far different from asking Him for something or presenting Him with a list of petitions. For me, seeking the Lord's face means praying over and over and over again that I might be close to Him, be led by Him, have the knowledge of His will, and be used in His plan. It's amazing and wonderful how God answers this prayer. He makes me aware of His nearness at unexpected times. Clearly, our God is a God of relationship. He is now a distant, hands-off God. He numbers the very hairs or our heads. He knows the words on our tongues before we speak them. He ordained the days of our lives even before we took our first breath.

Draw closer to God, He is always here for us, He listen to our cry and His love for us in incomparable. He loves us so much that's why he gave His life to save us.

Words for the Day

Food for Today..."Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Good morning to all, how's your Monday morning so far? Hopefully everything is doing well and full of blessing. My Monday so far is so quiet and not so much work to do. My day is not complete without reading a verse. This is what I am trying to teach my children, when they woke up and I let them sit on the couch and we will have a morning prayer together before I will feed them. I want them to grow up with fear to the LORD and love the Lord our God above all. They love to listen story telling so I spend 15 minutes a day reading their bible. I know, they are not fully understand what the Word of God means because they are still very young, but it's nice to start when they are still young.

Good Night Folks!

I am really tired and exhausted, what a long day for me huh! it's really late here an still I'm awake, my eyes is giving up already, I have a back ache by just sitting in front of the computer most of my time tonight. So before signing off, I just want to leave a simple good night and see you tomorrow morning.

I will give you a verse to remember taken from the book of Psalm 23 " The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leaderth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and merch shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." this is the NEW King James Version.

Good night everybody.

Blessed Be His Name

" For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6(KJV)

This verse is very important to us because without Him, we are not here in this world today. He gave his life and save us from all our trespasses. I personally thank Him for being Counselor, Father. Through You I gain wisdom and direction. Your Word gives me good advice and common sense. Its Scriptures shed light on the paths before me and help me not to stumble. I trust in You in all I do. I will keep Your will first place in all things. As I obey You, my Father, I thank You for blessing me with joy and success. I entrust all I do to Your keeping, whether the way be difficult or easy. I will always teach my children Your Word and Your way. Thank you father for all that you have done and are going to be done. I will praise You and adore You. You are my everlasting Father.

Take Comfort

Do you ever feel your trails are like wearing a crown of thorns? Be faithful. As you trust in God, your crown of thorns will be taken away and He will hand you a crown with stars instead. Remember to thank and praise Him. Do you feel like you are overloaded, your hands filled with heavy cares? Be faithful. As you keep trusting in God, He will take away your heavy cares and place a harp in your grasp, so you may sing glory and honor to God for all He has done. When I was not walking with Him, I felt like I had always carrying a burden in my shoulder, it seems like I don't have tomorrow and feel like end of my world. When I knew Him and surrender all my burdens and thorns to Him, I was lifted up and my life begins to normal knowing that I have a Superior that taking care of me and my burdens. It feel like everything is easy because I know that I have God that who is always there for me. Remember that footprints in the sand? Well that's how I feel when I trust and obey Him. Remember to thank and praise Him.

Wonderful

Your wonders, dear God, are far greater than I can take in. The mysteries of Your creation, the new things we learn in science, even the delicate features of a tiny spider, astound me. Thank You, wonderful God, for all Your magnificent works. You are such an awesome and amazing God. Everyday You amazes me of everything big and small. I am thankful because I have you as my Savior. It reminds me of this verse from Psalm 107:8 (KJV) "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"

"Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare." Psalm 40:5 (NIV)

"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen." Psalm 41:13 (NIV)

Jesus Saved Me

My family and I went to church this morning and I am so proud that my family and I are saved. We are not lost, I am so thankful and blessed that we know Jesus Christ and put Him at the center of our lives. We are all sinners but because of God's grace, we are forgiven. He washed away our sins and cleansed us whiter than the snow. How amazing He is. I am forever grateful that even I am not faithful to Him sometimes, He is always faithful to me and my family. So if people will ask me how He lives just simply say He truly lives in our heart.

God Bless everyone and remember Jesus Love you and He will take care of you.

Hope

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen you." Jeremiah 29:11-12 (NIV)

When trials assail me and all seems to fail, God give me hope. God is my light shining through the darkness. He is my song, my inner peace and joy. All it takes from me is to switch my focus from the catastrophes to Him and His precious promises. As I wait upon Him, I become stronger and take heart. I see goodness in all He do. I praise Him for His everlasting love. You have been my hope over and over again, my Majesty. He have the power and authority to work things together for good in my life. Since I know Him, I have learned to place my trust and confidence in Him. Each day I listen and trust Him more. Now I know more than ever that He is my hope, my life and my family's life. He have promised I will be secure as I trust and obey Him. Because I have placed everything in You, Lord. I rest in Your protecting hands my Lord.

The next time the storms of life are upon me, I'll hold on tight and keep my gaze on You, for You are me ever faithful savior.

My Heartfelt Condonlences

This afternoon I was chatted with my high school teacher back home in the Philippines, and she told me about a sad news that our friend's husband passed away few days ago and today is the internment. I can't help myself but to cry. She is not really a close friend of mine but we knew each other. She got married two years ago with American guy and they decided to settle in the Philippines where her family lives. My teacher told me, that she is trying to accept the truth that her husband is already gone and it will never come back anymore. I feel sorry for her and I wish that I can comfort her, but I am sure she understand that I'm far from home. My heartfelt condolences to her and her husband's family. I am sure God is always there for her.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Mathew 11:28

Saying YES to GOD

I'm just sitting here in front of my computer and reading some bible verses and try to apply it to my day to day basis. Have you come to a fork in your road of life? Do you feel God's call to serve? Do you recognize His voice and know it is Him? Simply wait on Him and say "Yes." Don't ponder over the what-ifs or whys, neither question your abilities. Don't worry about timing or the future. Test the calling to be sure it is of God. When you know it is Him, simply tell Him, "Yes." When the mighty winds blow, He will miraculously place them at your back. When the floods begin to rage, He may tell you to keep paddling in faith, believing, while He calms the seas.

God's calling is sure. We don't have to worry about making a way. If it is His will, He works all things out in His own perfect way and timing. He calls us through, around, over and under to serve. No one can stop us, no poverty can starve us, no evil can diminish His call. For He has a glorious plan for each one of us.

So, just say, "YES."

"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling"... Ephesians 1:18 (KJV)

Forgive Freely

"See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many." Hebrews 12:15

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the forgiveness You have given me. You have not only forgiven me of my sin, You have removed my sins far from me. Help me not to forgive those who trespassed against me with the same grace You have poured out in abundance to me. I cannot do this by myself I remain angry, bitter and resentful. But with Your help, as I forgive the one who has hurt me, those emotions will heal and perhaps one day, even turn into love. Help me to move forward so that I can accomplish that which You have called me to do. In the precious name of Jesus and for His name's sake, Amen.

This verse is soooo meaningful to me because I completely forgive my step brother before he passed away last year. He asked forgiveness for what he had done to me. I will not tell the whole story behind this because I've already forgave him but I just want to share this verse with you.
