Today is Sunday, the 1st of February 2009 and I am getting excited about the up coming valentines day to those who are celebrating this very special occasion. Well, my husband dear is not around for this occasion but still I am looking forward on this day. I remembered when we had our first valentines date when we are still engaged and he set up the date at the 5 star hotel when we are still in Bahrain. He bought my gown for me. I never expected that he will buy my gown but because he insisted that he would be honored if I will let him pay the gown that I've chosen. I was with my sister that time and my sister and I agreed to let him pay for it. I thought our date was just the two of us but I was surprised when I went to our table and it's not a table for two, it was a big table that he reserved and with out my knowledge he invited all my friends and their partners. That was really cool to see all my friends and their partner was there on that night.

I would always cherish those days and the moment that he made me so happy. I attached the pictures that we had that night with our dear friends. I miss you guys, hope one day we will see you again.

Birthday Gift?

I am having trouble finding a good birthday gift for my son who is celebrating his 2nd birthday this coming 8th of November. I am thinking of giving him a educational toy but I am also hesitant for some reason. So I decided to buy him a nice pair of shoes that he can wear everyday and he needs too. I know he will not appreciate it that much, at least something that he can use all the time. He needs an extra pair of shoes especially since it's getting cold and they love to play outside. Thinking that I will order it online so that it would be here on time.

Since I was browsing my wish list for this coming Christmas, I found out that this online store carries also a lot of brand name shoes for less. I didn't order one yet, I have to wait to get my payments from blogging. I use my income from blogging so that it will be more memorable for me. I am so happy that I have extra income from blogging because I can buy what I want and I can send some money for my family back home too.

65 Days more to Go!

Have you noticed 65 days more to go before Christmas? Yes 65 days more to go! I am counting the days before Christmas because I am excited of going home to see my family back home and hopefully we will be there before Christmas. Oh well, it depends if my husband will come here in Arkansas before then if not we have to wait for him before he is going for his deployment. My family is important but my husband is comes first and I am sure my family back home will understand if we will not be there for Christmas. I cannot wait to open the balik-bayan boxes that I sent ahead of us because I miss giving present during Christmas gifts to my family by myself. I always giving them present but have to send it through shipping. This time I will be the one to hand it to them and see their reaction, lol! I don't have much to give but I am sure they will enjoy and love them.

Happy Birthday To Me

Today is my birthday, I don't have any celebration at all but it doesn't mean I'm not happy. Of course I am! I got a call from my sister and my very dear friend from Kingdom of Bahrain. I didn't expect that my dear friend called me because it's been awhile we don't have any contact. So I was kind of surprise and happy she called. Then my mother in law called also just to greet me. Enough for me that people who are part of my life called and texted me for my birthday, that's the most important. Although my husband is not around I'm happy enough that there are a lot of people remember my birthday.

I am so thankful to our Lord Jesus for giving me another year. Wow! I am 33 years old already. Thank you Lord for everything and all the blessing that You poured out on me.

The Birthday Girl

She is like one of my nieces, actually she is not related to me, she is the niece of my brother in law. I really like her, in fact every time I went to Manila, I find ways to see her. She is a nursing student and she told me if I can be there on her graduation next year but I didn't say YES to her yet because I want to surprise her.

Early Birthday Present

This afternoon, my family and I went to an electronics store to look at laptops for myself when I go home. I have chosen one but my husband told me that I have to wait until November. So I decided to look around the store and guess what I got??? hmmm.. My husband knows what I want. So he bought it for my birthday since he is not going to be around on my birthday. It's an early birthday present. Actually, I don't like surprise presents from my husband anyway, I told him if he will give me a gift, I want that I will be the one to choose. I am enjoying my new digital camera that my husband bought for me.

To my husband: Thank you so much for the early birthday present. I know you like to surprise me but you know me. I want that I will be the one to choose, especially if it's expensive. So that I will not complain. Hehehehehe!

Birthday Wish

Last Sunday, my husband and I were discussing about our eldest son's 3rd birthday this coming Friday 22nd of August 2008. We decided to held his birthday party at the park few block away from us with some of my husband's family and friends. I asked my son, what he wants for his birthday. He told me that he want to have a cake and a balloons. His daddy said, what else you want? He said "bike". My husband and I are decided to give him a small bike and a helmet on it. Sunday afternoon my husband went to store and he saw a bike for my eldest son, so he called me and asked my permission. I told him to go ahead as long as his son will not notice about the bike. So he went to a supervisor and told him to wrapped the bike.

We are getting excited for his birthday because we have a friend that have a daughter older than him and he wants her to attend on his birthday, so we called our friend and tell them about the party and right away the confirmed that they will be at the party this coming Saturday. Oh boy, my son knows already how to choose who will be there for his birthday.
