Sometimes I have to laugh at some of the things I see on TV and read in magazines because I am somewhat of a realist. We are always shown the bright side of situations and rarely shown the reality. There is a lot of nations that are on the edge of turmoil and civil unrest, children starving and people dying. For a lot of people "Hope" is what holds things together, "Hope" creates the energy to continue go on for another day. What do you think of when you hear the phrase " Hope is good for breakfast but not necessarily for supper". Sometimes you do not have control over different situations but when all else fails you still have "Hope". In this video by D.S. Simon recorded at the annual Big Apple Awards where Mr. Mort Zuckerman was the speaker. He discussed this statement made by Senator Obama. Take a look on this video and share your thoughts about this quote.
