My Sister's Chemotherapy

I was chatting with my sister last night who live in Bahrain for more than 16 years now, last year around October, 2007, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I know she will get mad at me because I share her story, I just want to share a little bit of her story. When we found out that she have a breast cancer, everybody in my family was sad and crying, all we can do is to make her strong, comfort her, encouragement and best of all is prayers . It was early this year when the doctors decided to removed her left breast to prevent from spreading it. Praise God, it was very successful, although I feel sorry for her because I cannot be with her in times of her need. We are thousands of miles away from each other even our other siblings back home cannot be there for her. After the removal of her breast the doctors decided to have a chemotherapy right away. I could imagine how she feel, so time to time I call her to check how she doing. I could really say that she is very strong woman and her faith to our Lord Jesus is very strong. Last 22nd of July 2008, she finally finished her 8 session chemotherapy and she is so happy to tell us about it. At last it's over. Oh No! it's not over yet, she just started her radiation a couple of days ago and she told me that the medicine is really strong and she cannot even stand by her own and she have two more radiation to go, then it will be complete done! We are very inpatient to wait for the result after all. She told me that after the radiation, the doctors will examine her again for the final result.

I am sure if she will read this post, she will get upset of me, but that's ok as long as I will able to share this to everyone out there, who have also diagnosed with cancer or to their love ones. Her story is very inspiring one.

To all the people, friends and relatives who prayed for her and continuing praying for her health, from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU!!! Without you guys this is not possible, we all know that prayers is very powerful. Please continue praying for her complete healing, she is excited to go home to have a vacation after everything she been through.

To my sister, Be strong and courageous.
